Extended Season!

We've extended into December!

With the growing season shifted later this year, many crops are only just coming in. We've also added so many wonderful vendors that have antiques, shabby chic, upcycled, and handmade goods! The perfect trifecta happened when Goble Historic Tavern agreed to let us continue using the parking lot on Saturdays and move into the back patio after Thanksgiving!

Join us through the fall season!

December will be a real treat...

Fabulous Weather = Great Market Days!

Stop on by & support local farmers, artisans, artists, and crafters!
We're in the Goble Historic Tavern parking lot every Saturday through September.
We're looking for a few more vendors:
    Farmers
Artisans & Crafters - anything hand made: upcycled goods, original artwork, jewelry, pottery, etc
Food truck(s) - must have your food service licensing
    Musician(s)/Performer(s) - all genres welcome
    Face Painters
    Etc.
Our space is fantastic - open, surrounded by forest to the back and easy to see and access from Highway 30. We have great signage up every Saturday morning by 7:30. There is lots of advertising throughout Columbia County, on Facebook, and other online venues and social networks.
Set up starts at 7 am. The market is open 8 am to 1 pm.
Cost is $10 per week for a 10x10 space, no additional fees or charges.
We follow Oregon Department of Agriculture and local rules and regulations.
We're a family friendly venue.

Calling all Vendors!

Hello!
Please let me know if you plan on being at the market on Saturday morning.

With it being the weekend before the 4th, I want to make sure we'll have vendors.

You don't need to be a farmer to sell at the market. We're open to other things for sale too.

We've got direct sellers, jams, jellies, preserves, hand crafts, refurbished items, repurposed/upcycled treasures, etc.

The only things that require a special permit are ready to eat foods that are made on site, hot foods, drinks that aren't packaged, or if you're selling someone else's eggs or produce.

Thanks!

Vendors, we need you!!

Calling all farmers, handcrafters, greenhouses, direct sales (we already have Paparazzi and Mary Kay), jams, jellies, pickles... any thing you can dream up really.

The Oregon Agriculture rules are linked on anther blog on this site. Pretty much nothing illegal, immoral, or controlled substances. Yeah, bummer for anyone growing that crop, but we also don't want to get shut down or have anyone arrested.

The cost of a booth is still at $10 for a 10x10 space per week. You can pay as you go and fill out the application. If you want to read the rules and look the application over, they are just a few weeks back in this blog.

We're open now through the end of September every Saturday morning in the parking lot by the Old Goble Tavern.

Saturday, 17 June - 8 am to 1 pm

This weekend, we'll have vendors selling:

  • Canned jellies, including lilac jelly
  • Baked goods
  • Crafts
  • Fresh chicken eggs
  • Washable Swiffer pads
  • Orders for meat rabbits
  • Pretty Pretty Preslie with sparkly and fun accessories from Paparazzi
  • Mary Kay

There will be a Master Gardener there to answer your yard and garden questions.
It's supposed to be sunny & warm! Come out & support your friends & neighbors here in Goble.

We still have room for vendors! Give us a shout or just show up ready to sell on Saturday morning. Look for the big green & gray canopy - the market manager will be there with applications and rules.

Just $10 per week for a 10x10 space.

What you can sell as a small scale farmer in Oregon?

Each state has it's own laws and regulations for what you can/can't sell or do without a license. Oregon is no different, but those laws changed to make it easier for small farmers and small scale producers to get their goods to market. But there are still rules.

To make it easier to understand, Oregon State University published a great 4 page pamphlet with an easy to follow infographic flowchart to determine if what you sell is exempt from other regulations and licensing fees. You can find it here:
